Hello

My dentist recently left 🥺 after 7 years. In that time hes been incredible- couldn’t of got though half the issues without him.
The new practice is still in a close remit to my work. Do i give my new one a chance or try to move?

Hi Lottie1855, :welcome: Sorry to hear your dentist has left! Sounds like he was quite a blessing! Have you heard much of the new dentist? Reviews? website, fb? board of dentistry.. I always feel better doing a bit of research to see how others have experienced them, you can get a general idea. Also not sure in Manchester but in US many dentists will let you come for a meet and greet at no cost to see if you feel comfortable with them, they don't do exams, just show you around and answer questions and see if you get a good vibe. Maybe geeky but one thing I did was make a list of what the must have's were in a dentist and if I didn't feel they had them, it was a no go. What did you like most about your dentist of 7 years? That's a long time of earning your trust.

@Lottie1855 so sorry to hear your dentist has left! Can you just clarify - did he move somewhere close by and can you follow him?
