All my teeth are tingly / sore

Hello,

I went to the dentist yesterday as I had been suffering with sore teeth with pain in all teeth, jaw and rest of headache pain.

Dr gave me 3 injections and a filling - needless to say my mouth was numb for several hours later.
Now that the numbness has worn off I have slightly elevated pain in all my teeth but is more painful than it was before, very sensitive and tingly.

Is this just the aftermath of the treatment that was performed and as a result of the pain I did not feel whilst I was numbed up??

Id appreciate some advice on this .

I'm not a dentist but did he take x-rays before deciding which tooth to treat?
Is the tingly pain there as soon as you wake up? Often generalised pain across all teeth can be caused if you are clenching or grinding your teeth when asleep and clenching also when awake say when driving or concentrating on something.
It is the nerve running underneath all your teeth (periodontal ligament) which is then irritated, not the nerve in the individual teeth themselves so much.

Solutions are training yourself not to clench (try falling asleep with your tongue between your teeth) - lips together teeth apart. Or you may benefit from a nightguard. Your dentist should be able to see a wear pattern on your teeth enamel if you are severely grinding or clenching.

Generalised sensitivity can also be because enamel has worn away. Using special toothpastes and desensitising treatments can help with this usually.

If your dentist has not addessed your concerns adequately I would advise you to get a second opinion. You mentioned jaw aches so you should also maybe ask about TMJ/D. Beyond this unexplained generalised pain in teeth could be caused by neuralgia. I am not a dentist though so I think you need to see someone a bit more clued up.

He took one set of xrays by wedging these yellow things in my jaw - but the results were not instant and then he did an RGB which showed instantly that the tooth had a small hole in it.

Another day has past and I have jaw ache and when i bite down on my teeth i have a sudden rush of pain through all my teeth - have not encountered this before.

My only theory is that when i had the first 2 jabs and he started drilling, this was not enough as I had a sharp pain (maybe he hit a nerve) and then did the 3rd jab.

I think we need a dentist to comment. If it persists, you do need to go back though or get a second opinion as obviously you can't live with the pain.
