Hi everyone!

I don't know how to start except with wow! It was wonderful.

I'm cavity free, decay free and with a fresh set of polished teeth! I feel so inspired now!

I'll do a better write up once we've gotten back from dinner tonight and after i have a glass or 2 of something (wine, maybe?) :)

I could not have done anything without the support from my family and now my virtual family here! You guys are wonderful and I cannot begin to express the appreciation for each and every one of you I have!

Your stories have been so hard to read but they have given me the courage to go forward with this. For that I send you all massive hugs and love from my little corner of the world.

He gets an A+++++ for everything. His staff was super sweet and he is, too. Patient and totally took everything I had to say seriously.

Aside from being a bad girl and not wearing my NTI every night everything is healthy. He hopes it will eventually allow my jaw to slide back into alignment and do a bit of bite correction if he knows that I need it. So I need to wear it all the time now. Worth the bit of discomfort, totally.

Thanks again, everyone!

PS: my ST. Louisians we should try and set up a meet and eat thing when everyone has healed and is feeling up to it. :D

That is absolutely awesome news!!! I know you feel so relieved. I can't imagine that anyone enjoys going to the dentist but now you have had a good experience so it only gets easier from here.
I know when I decided I finally needed to get something done it took me sooo long to finally go and part of mine was more embarrassment which just got worse each year as my teeth got worse.
Enjoy your vino!!! I love coming down to the hill, Giantonys (spelling?) is one of my faves!!
Take care!!

THE BEST NEWS!!! I am so thrilled for you! I had such a good feeling for you...hey, if it can't be me, then I knew it would be you. Stay with us a while. So many stories have long roads to happy endings; but you can be an inspiration to the early-on phobics who just need a little nudge to save themselves decades of heartache. Did you have the best coffee of your whole life afterwards? Do you absolutely know what a a wonderful fiance you have? And now you know what a great health-care provider you have, and good friends who will be there for you always. An awesome day for 3am!
I vote for LoRusso's or Cunetto's...he!!, I'll go for anything on the Hill. Just give me a few months so I can chew it all!
HUGS and praise to a strong midwestern lady!

Hi, both of you!

I plan on staying a long, long time—helping/reading/relating with you all fills me with so much pride and empathy. i know that for a long time coming I will still be skiddish of the dental profession but with the support from those who matter it can only get easier from here.

It's even became common place for me to check this forum every day to read up on people (even if I don't comment). It's really become a 2nd home. :)

I didn't have any coffee :) instead I came home and just sort of sat in silence for a while and soaked in the great energy i was feeling from everyone.

I am aware how lucky I am. It only really makes me want to be of use in so many more ways now, though. Whether it be talking someone through their 1st time going to the dentist or cooking someone a pot of broccoli cheddar soup—just to help and give someone the faith and encouragement I received here ... That's what's worth it to me.

Cunettos sounds so goooood! Lets gooo!

:D

Be well,

3AM (Who is headed to sleepy land)

Glad it went well. Well done. [smiley=jumping.gif][smiley=party.gif]
