Hi Sonree -
Not having knowledge of specifically what sedation meds you will be using for your procedure, no one can tell you if your current meds will have a negative interaction.
HOWEVER, don't panic, there's an EASY answer to this concern : Take a list of
all medications you take, what dosage, how often and don't forget to add all Vitamins, supplements, add occasional Ibuprofen or Aspirin or any other OTC pain reliever that you take (but do note if you take it the day of or the day before procedure) - Take this list with you to your procedure and give it to the Anesthesia Nurse or Dentist for their professional opinion.
FYI - I take several OTC and script meds for various ailments as well as Vitamins and allergy meds daily. I emailed my list to the clinic a few weeks before my procedure AND brought a current, updated list with me for the Day off procedure. None of my many medications changed their protocol. And all was well.
Are you just taking an oral sedative prior to appt or are you having IV sedation? If just oral sedative prescribed to you, make sure the Pharmacists has a current list of your meds as well as the clinic. This double checking won't hurt.
You'll be fine.
