Anyone had a coronectomy?

What is pain like afterwards in comparison to regular wisdom tooth extraction?? Am absolutley petrified as my dentist told me Id be in "agony"

Ive just had a wisdom tooth extacted and am due to have another removed using the coronectomy technique........has anyone got experience of this? Is the pain afterwards same / worse than regular extraction?? HELP! Am petrified as my denstist told me Id be "in agony" afterwards!

I'd get another opinion from an oral surgeon who can safely remove the tooth, or perhaps leave it alone and not leave you in agony.

I would love to leave it alone except Im planning on getting pregnant this year at some point and my dentist has advised that hormones may make the tooth play up and being pregnant i would be limited to what I could take to control pain........
