My upper wisdom teeth is impacting my second molars within the jawbone (it has not erupted) and has been causing a burning pressured feeling, particularly on one side for years, and it is getting increasingly painful and unbearable.

Also because of this, one of my upper second molars has become angled into my cheek which is causing near constant rubbing and abrasion, and bite misalignment. My lymph nodes are constantly swollen and I can't eat on that side.

My dentist says that the NHS will not take my wisdom teeth out as the extraction would be complex and there is no infection present but the pressure and pain are becoming too much for me to handle.

I feel like I'm going mad. Will the pain ever settle?

Has anyone had a similar experience to this? I don't know what to do and I can't afford a private extraction.

If your wisdom tooth is causing you pain because it is pressing on the second molar, and the extraction is too complex for your NHS dentist to handle, they should refer you to an oral surgeon on the NHS. You could write a letter of complaint to the practice manager and see if they oblige?
