Broken 2nd premolar removal

My upper right 2nd premolar was root canaled 2 years ago. The onlay came off a few months ago. My dentist is taking it out Thursday but has said it will be a difficult extraction.. Will this actually be a difficult extraction or will it come out like any other tooth. I have several dental anxiety but sedation wait is 18 months and I need this tooth out soon before it breaks even more.

Doesn't look a simple job to me, I'd expect to get it out OK but it'll take a bit of fiddling. Being a 2nd premolar it's likely to have a single conical shaped root so that helps a lot

How tricky it will be rather depends on how far down below the gum line the decay goes and you can't tell from just looking at a photo.
