Chickened out of going again!!!

Well i was spose to be going to dentist yesturday to have a very old root canal tooth prepped for a crown and i made myself physically sick with fear and couldnt go. This tooth has been buzzing and tingling for last week and i dont know why!? Ive had an awfull cold so could it be my sinus setting it off, wouldnt have thought i should have any feelings in a tooth with no nerve. Why would it be buzzing like this?

Sounds like it may need a retreat for the rct before crowning? I suppose there is the possibility that all the canals were not found and/or the sensation could be coming from the ligament under the tooth not the tooth itself. Sinus could be involved, they can mimick tooth pain but not a dentist so don't really know. We need Gordon back pronto!

Either way a dentist needs to evaluate it and decide whether prepping for a crown is still appropriate.

Sorry this has happened to you after all you have been through and that you felt the need to cancel. Is this the specialist dentist you are seeing still or have you been passed back?

Thank you Brit. I just dont know which way to turn now, sick o eating pasta and other soft foods, just want to be normal and EAT!!

No i was passed back to dentist who seems to be at a loss what to do. Hes going to get ball rolling with this partial denture to replace the 5 back teeth which i have lost so hoping this will take pressure off the premolar that i am currently using to eat this soft vile food.
