Constant pain

I have had bab phobia with dentist for years and it only in recent times I have gotten better. 10 day ago I had a lover tooth extraction. They had to half the tooth to get it completely out but since having it done I have had constant pain with the tooth right next to the extraction site. It’s constantly throbbing pan and can’t bite down, even just tapping the tooth is really painful and no pain relief is helping
