Cyst draining

Hi me again
I had an infection in my tooth which caused quite a large cyst with a lump on the roof of my mouth. I had the tooth removed yesterday and since then, the lump on my palate has been slowly draining but its draining through the extraction site? The palate lump is noticeably smaller so im sure its the cyst draining through and not a new infection (I hope anyway!) But im feeling really anxious about it. When I look at the extraction site its just mostly filled with the draining fluid and no blood clot (that I can see) and it seems to be closing up quite quickly? The socket is a lot smaller than it was yesterday. I have little to no pain and no swelling really.
Is all this normal? Im on edge and constantly checking it which i know isn't helping but im stuck in this fear loop!

Hiya Gordon sorry to bother you again, im about 37 hours post extraction now and ive woke up quite sore. I had 3 teeth out at the same time (left and right incisors and the right first pre molar)
Its not unbearable pain but definitely more pain than ive had since extraction.
Its not the extraction sites really its more the the whole top of my mouth. Like a pulsing annoying nagging feeling in my gums and under my nose.
Is this normal for this stage or should I be going back to the dentist?
As you can tell all this makes me extremely anxious and im struggling to cope with the mental side of it all at the moment.

Does it respond to simple pain killers like paracetamol? If yes, then it's probably just a bit of residual soreness from the extraction process, so it'll be fine to wait for it to get better.

If it doesn't then give your dentist a call and see what they say.

Yes pain killers are easing it, im just finding myself actually wanting painkillers whereas yesterday I was mostly taking them to keep on top of it before it hurt.
It feels like a deep bruised feeling, cheeks and under nose are tender etc. Its not excruciating or anything.
I will keep the pain killers up and if it stops responding to them I will call the dentist

Hiya, sorry to be such a pain!
Since having the teeth out, the pre molars looks exactly how id expect it to with a clot etc but the incisors dont, they look like empty holes? These no pain and I cant see any white bone and theres no bad smell or anything but theres just no clot in there. There was a clot on the one and its slowly gone. Like I said, no pain, pain is actually less than yesterday but its the empty looking sockets that are worrying me. Is this normal with incisors because the roots are so deep?

Yes, the sockets look different with incisors, they have longer narrower root systems.

Im on day 7 now and although pain is definitely getting less and less, im still needing pain killers now and again. Im also still having drainage from the extraction sites.
Both teeth were chronically infected for a longgg time (about 5 years) before extraction and 1 had a cyst, so I don't know if that makes a difference here.
Is this still sounding normal? Ive tried to see my dentist but I can't get in until Wednesday. In the meantime im stressing that im going to get something horrendous like osteomyelitis (stupid google!!)
I have awful health ocd and this last week has been horrendous for me! Thank you so much for your help.

Osteomyelitis is horrendously painful, smells terrible and is (fortunately) extremely, extremely rare.

It doesn't sound like you're experiencing anything other than slowish healing, which isn't anything to get worried about.
