dentist question please help

I had a small cavity filled yesterday.. It took 3 times to numb me, now today, I have a metalic taste( all day) and some small zapping(like nerves.) Is this normal? Will my tooth get painful or abscessed? I've had 2 abscessed teeth before after a filling(yes the last one's were deep fillings) but I'm still scared. The dentist said that this was a small cavity. He filled it with the white stuff. It is filled partially on and in between a tooth that has metal.. will this go away or is something wrong. My gums look fine, and my tooth has no swelling.. help.. I'm extremely anxious about this.

A little bit of sensitivity after a new filling is quite normal, try not to worry about it.
