Just wondering what the dentists think about using adhesive? My own dentist has told me not to use it all, ever and I'm wondering why that is.

Some people like it, some don't. I don't recommend it for every case, but it has its uses. I don't understand your dentists blanket condemnation of it I'm afraid.
