disadvantages of porcelain denture

What are the disadvantages of porcelain denture? is it true that porcelain teeth are heavier than plastic?

Years ago plastic teeth did not wear well and had poor aesthetics. Porcelain teeth looked much better.
Problems with Porcelain teeth are staining at the denture tooth interface, chipping, difficult for the dentist to adjust, easier to fall out of denture, don't wear in to fit better, and may have a harsher impact on the ridge.
Resin(plastic) teeth now come in a wide range of quality. The cheap teeth still wear out fast and look plastic with poor shading and contours. A premium resin tooth has high wear resistance and looks like a tooth. The costs difference to a dentist can be over 10X between the two but much less to the the patient(usually).
