fear of block injection

I have a fear of being numbed, I can just about deal with the single tooth injection but I could never have the block.
So my question is can I have a single tooth injection for a root canal?
For my fillings I only have the single on the bottom

It depends on the tooth and your specific anatomy. Most teeth can be numbed easily without a block injection except for the bottom molar teeth. These either require a block or a single tooth infiltration along with a separate PDL or intraosseous injection. If they end up doing the infiltration + PDL, the numbness will likely wear off before they are done and they will have to numb it again.

I had a RCT on bottom molar with no block (I can't handle the post op pain from the inferior alveolar block as I get horrible trismus) and no infiltration. I don't like those either as I don't want any soreness from injections afterward. I only had PDL injection and that too without EPI as I have tachycardia which is caused by a hypersensitivity to adrenaline. What he did was (under sedation) only did PDL, drilled to the pulp chamber, and then as soon as he entered the pulp chamber he added anesthetic solution directly in the pulp. No other anesthetic was required and I had NO needle soreness afterward!!!
