Granulation tissue? Normal after eleven days?

I had my 1st lower molar extracted eleven days ago. It was a difficult extraction as the tooth had been broken for about ten years and came out in pieces. Is the socket looking normal from others experiences? I've had three other extractions recently and remember the sockets having white granulation tissue but not for this long or this white. It was sore for about six days after the extraction but didn't need pain killers. Excuse the state of my 2nd molar I'm only about halfway through my treatment.
