Gum trouble

Hello,
Since 11 years old (now 32) MY front right tooth is missing due to falling down and smacking my face on the solid ground at school,at which point i had a denture fitted,the one on a plate that you can take out.Now many years later ive taken this tooth out as it is irritatin my mouth quite a bit now,but the main problem is tha the small tooth on the bottom row directly underneath neath the denture ,the gum on the front of it is receding quite badly almost 8-10 mm below the tooth next to it.i am proberly brushing is quite hard now to try to clean the gap out and using mouthwash 2 times a day to try to combat it but to no avail,if anyone has any tips?? i would be most grateful as i really dont want to lose this tooth.Also is there such a thing as a plaster for your mouth?? i thought maby something like that could help ??

You may have a heavy frenum, which may be causing the recession. Pull your lower lip out and see if the tissue where the frenum attaches becomes white.

I recommend scheduling an appointment with a periodontist. Once the gum recedes there's no bringing it back. One option is to place a tissue graft. A periodontist can take tissue from another part of the mouth and graft it over the receded site.

yes my gum does look like that but probrely worse than on that picture there are black spots appearing along the edge of it now and am worried that the tooth is starting to rot in the gap as its getting quite hard to clean

Take a good picture on Macro setting ouside in bright light and post it.
