Gum trouble..

Hi, I am having trouble with the right side of my mouth..my gums are quite sore. I got a tooth extraction (left side of mouth) not friday there but the friday before. I don't know if that has anything to do with my gums being sore though because it is the other side that I got an extraction done. Also I have the flu and I am wondering if that could have something to do with it? maybe with me being all blocked up..or could it be that my wisdom tooth is coming through? The pain starts right at the back beside my jaw and follows on and slowly fades off. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated..I know people are busy with it being christmas Thanks in advance.

An extraction on one side of the mouth can strain the joint on the other side (Just because of the way the jaw moves in its 'socket' (Well, it's more of a capsule really))
