Hiya, at the start of March I went to the dentist as I had gum disease. The dentist cleaned them - got the tartar off and stuff and said to get Corsodyl mouthwash which helps treat gum disease. Anyway, i've been using the mouthwash for nearly 2 months now. The swelling and redness has gone down and it isn't sore anymore, but the parts of the gums which are next to my teeth are still red. What can I do about this? Will it go down if I keep using the mouthwash or do I need to go back and see the dreaded dentist?
Also, Can I get a tooth removed on the NHS if its in perfect health but annoys me? It sticks out and its making the inside of my mouth sore. Or will i have to go private?
