Hello My name is Arianna I am 30 years old, I recently had my whole upper teeth done with root canals and porcelain crowns. I have one small problem on my top back tooth. I feel air and pieces of cement crumbling. Sorta feels like a loose tooth about to fall out as a child. I'm not quite sure how to explain this exactly.
Last weekend I was in the mountains higher elevation and my tooth started throbbing. I read on the internet that this is a rare condition that happens to scuba divers..
I went to my dentist and explained my problem, she told me that because my teeth are new I just have to get used to them and the way they feel. All my other teeth have no problem but this one is starting to give me anxiety that the crown is going to fall off while I am sleeping and going to choke on it. I have been doing my research online regarding air pockets under crowns and can't seem to find a answer.
Was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and can help me figure out how else I can explain to my dentist. Should I ask my dentist to take off the crown and replace it? Please help!!
