Hi, few questions about a post sinus lift surgery...

I had it done Wednesday, the 20th, and it's now Saturday, the 23rd. I don't feel much pain. Just some swelling, more on my right cheek, than my left. Is this normal? I want to know what I should be feeling around this time. If anyone has any help, please let me know!


ALSO, my doctor told me it'd be fine, but I have a snap on smile, or a plastic appliance that I wear every day. I will be wearing it Monday, and he told me I could, but I just hope that it won't ruin the lift. I haven't worn it since Wednesday... so I'm hoping that's enough healing.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE. I'm just worried, and these things are expensive. I really hope that everything is okay.

I am sorry I cannot help you but I just wanted to say hi. Hopefully one of the dentists or someone that has had the same treatment will come along to give you some help.

If by now you still aren't sure of things then please do give your dentist a call and ask their advice.

It sounds like your body is healing very well.
I haven't seen the appliance but I'm pretty sure the appliance won't harm the sinus.
