I'm not registered with a dentist and I've got into a bad situation now because I lost part of one tooth and have really bad pain on the other side of my mouth too now. I've been so terrified of going to a dentist and them being appalled at how bad I have let things get (and also have serious social anxiety) but don't think I can put it off too much longer.
Can anyone tell me how emergency appointments work in the UK if you can't afford private? Some of them list a price for NHS emergency but I assume that's just for them to see you, but say I needed 3 teeth removing would they do that for the usual NHS fees? There's an 8 month waiting list for new NHS patients and it's going to be hard to wait that long but I have no idea how things work.
