I am NOT a dentist, but here is my two-cents as a person who has had several teeth pulled. (Four wisdom teeth, one molar, and four pre-molars prior to wearing braces.)
If the socket from the tooth is still bleeding, moisten a tea bag (regular tea, not herbal tea), squeeze it out, and then place it over the socket. Lightly bite down on it. The tannins in black tea help stop the bleeding.
I wouldn't drink beer, or anything else, until the socket has definitely stopped bleeding for several hours. You need to form a clot in the socket for it to stop bleeding and any liquid you drink can keep the clot from forming.
I also wouldn't smoke. Tobacco or a bong. Again, that tooth socket needs to be left as alone as you can manage for it to begin healing.
Are you taking anything for pain? Non-steroidal anti-inflamatories such as aspirin or ibuprofen also cause your blood to clot more slowly. If you are taking those, it may be partly why your socket is still bleeding. You might try switching to acetaminophen (Paracetamol) which doesn't have that effect.
Try putting an ice-pack on the affected cheek to reduce swelling and help with the pain. Heat is not normally recommended this soon.
If you really are in excruciating pain, call your dentist's office or -- if they're closed -- you could even call or go to the A&E department of your nearest hospital.
A certain amount of pain after a tooth extraction is not uncommon, but it shouldn't be unbearable.
