I had my front tooth removed on July 5th . The doctor gave me a palatal injection which was extremely painful. Ever since then till today the 14 it’s been hard to eat and very sore and swollen. Is this normal? Does this happen ? Did he do something wrong ? I’m freaking out a little bit. I looked up my incisive papilla is swollen but will this go away after some time? Is this all just do to the trauma of my tooth being extracted and the needle for numbing? Please help if u can.

Yes, it should settle down in a few more days. In the meantime try to be careful not to traumatise it further, since it's swollen it's more vulnerable.
