Dear All,
I happen to have internal root resorption(in a primary tooth) and now its too late to do anything(as per my dentist) except start preparing to get an implant. My dentist thinks it was caused by some accident/trauma but was missed out for many years(sigh, makes me ever more depressed)
There is no permanent teeth growing in place. I have to consider an implant sooner or later.
1. How are these implants? Do they feel normal?
2. I read that they could come with complications too (ie peri-implantis) at a later stage. Could this be treated safely without problems?
3. Also in the event if there is newer medicine(biotooth) available, could it be possible to remove an implant without causing much damage to the cell/tissue?
I am really depressed here.
Please help answer my questions.

. My advice would be firstly to choose your implantologist ''very'' carefully. The proceedure is very straight forward and in my experience less traumatic than having an extraction. When the implant has integrated with the bone and the crown is placed it will probably feel a little strange. Nothing will ever be as good as your natural tooth, but eventually the brain seems to adjust to the imposter and doesn't give it a second thought
