I finally dragged myself to the dentist and was happy to learn that i do not need a root canal(!!!), but i do need three new fillings (
). The doctor told me that to get the white ones I'll have to pay private fees since they're way in the back, and apparently it's gonna be about 260£ for filling. Is that normal? Last time I had fillings in the uk was about 5 years ago, but I remember paying 150£ a filling? Have the prices really gone this high?
The place seems to have good reviews on google but i'm not sure how good a metric is that. It's a new dentist I've never been before and the guy was really trying to sell the private ones (which i understand, but still, I am informed enough to know the metal ones are functionally good generally), so i don't know, it's giving me a bit of anxiety.
