Issues with Root canal tooth after 3 months

Hello, I had a root canal on tooth number 14 in December because the tooth was abscessed, and now I'm having pain with it again. I'm also pretty sure the abscess has come back, as my lymph nodes on my neck on that side of my mouth are swollen, and I had the same issue before I had the root canal. Is it possible for a root canal to fail this fast? Everything felt normal about a week after it healed, and I'm not happy I'm having issues again so soon. I got a permanent crown on the tooth 2 weeks after the root canal was done.
