Long roots?

A few years ago, I had a root canal, which went fine. The endodontist was basically making conversation and he commented that I have long roots in my teeth “like a linebacker” haha (I’m a very petite woman). Since then I’ve started pondering it and wondering— if the day comes when I need an extraction, is it going to be harder? Like… are long roots really a thing, and if so, does it make them harder to pull?

Sure, root shapes can vary a lot between people. Doesn't necessarily make them any harder to remove though.
