Long-Term Effects After Facial Paralysis

I live not far from Glasgow. Yesterday I had six injections of local to repair my two damaged wisdom teeth. On the way home my eye and mouth drooped until the anaesthestic wore off.

Am I likely to suffer any ill effects of this temporary paralysis in the long-term? Or is that probably the last I've seen of it?

I used to be terrified of dentists and I don't want to go back to 'fear central' again.

Most people recover fine after dental anesthesia so I would bet money that you should have no lasting effects. Sometimes larger amounts of the anesthetic will create a temporary "Bell's Palsy" type of effect of droopiness which is self-resolving once the body eliminates the nerve blocking agent.
