Hiyas.
18 years ago (I was 9) I had an incident which made me lose my front top adult tooth. When it happened there was alot of dental appointments to sort it out and I was left with a plate. A few months later I bit the plate in 2, by the time I got it back the gap had closed over to much for it to fit and my parents didn't pursue the issue
By the time i was 18 the gap fully closed over where my big tooth was, and not having visited a dentist since I was 12, I'm terrified I will have to undergo a lengthy and expensive bunch of appointments to fix my issue. All I want though is to not be so self conscience of my flawed smile. So I'm stuck in a limbo type state of mind
I have a few questions regarding my issue if I may as I couldn't find anything similar to my problem.
What kind of procedures will I be looking at having to get done? I don't want to be left with dentures, which is another huge worry. I don't want to be told thats all they can do even though, in my opinion, my teeth are healthy.
Are there procedures out there that can make my current teeth look like theres one more?
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and offering a place for people with fears of getting dental work done a place to talk.
