Pain in tooth that was filled 1 month ago

About a month ago I had some fillings done on the upper left side of my mouth, I noticed a little bit of pain in the teeth that were filled in the days following but eventually the pain went away. Now I have been noticing that a couple of the teeth that were filled are extremely sensitive to cold and sweet things. I did have some sensitivity in one of the teeth every once in a while before when I would eat things that were very sweet but now I am experiencing this pain and sensitivity pretty much everytime I eat something cold or sweet and sometimes for no reason at all. Just wondering if this is normal or if there may be something wrong. thanks for any help.

The same things happened to my bottom right molar that I had filled like around christmas...cant remember date.

I'm pretty sure were normal but id like to see what gordon or zzzdentist have to say

It could be just the nerves reacting in response to the fillings. It can take some time for nerves to settle down. In other cases, problems with the bite or filling can lead to similar symptoms. You might want to mention it to the dentist if it is quite bothersome or worsening. Otherwise if you are going in at 6 months, you could let them check it then if it isn't too bad. One other thing to try might be using some Sensodyne desensitizing toothpaste to see whether that might help offer some relief.

I have the same thing, and it's been on for 10 months now. and in between I had a regular checkup and they found nothing wrong with it.
