Panic at numbing sensation

I am due at dentist today, but have an overall panic at the thought and feeling of being numb. I panic and feel I'm choking. 2 teeth either side of front w at bottom being extracted today. Any tips for overcoming this please.

Talk to your dentist about it. Might be possible to get the teeth numb with a bit less numbness of the soft tissues around the area, but it might not be. Kind of hard to say from your description.

@Gordon my 2 front bottom teeth have already fallen out on their own, it the teeth either side, 1 to left side and 1 to the right that need to be extracted today, does that make it easier to understand
