Relaxer pill?

What does the relaxer pill feel like? I have a pretty crippling fear of, how do you say, semi-knockout drugs? Like drugs that don’t put you to sleep but change the way you think and act. It really freaks me out. Can anybody explain how they make you feel and what they do for a procedure such as wisdom teeth removal? Thanks!

From the posts here on the forum: Everybody reacts differently to oral sedation, there have been people who didn't notice much, there have been some who felt calmer after taking it. I do not think that it makes you semi-knocked out or really changes the way you behave and haven't seen any posts here that suggest this. Remember that your dentist has the responsibility and wants to keep you safe. If you have any concerns, talk to your dentist, he/she might be able to reassure you.

I'm not sure which relaxer pill they will put you on. But . I have had Lorazepam/Ativan for procedures and it is absolutely fine and I do not feel a out of it like I was afraid of only more relaxed and chill and a bit tired but its that feeling when you notice you could fall asleep because your body is tired but its pretty subtle for me. I can feel my muscles are relaxed more. I really like it for medical procedures.
