Hi, this is my first time posting, but thank you everyone as this site has really helped me through the process of extraction and getting first upper, then full, dentures after years of gum disease and dental phobia.
I'm a 45 year old woman and just got new upper and lower dentures as my old ones were frequently cracking. I've come home from the lab today and whilst they fit much better, I'm really conscious that my upper front two teeth are lower than the others, whilst they weren't before. My old dentures looked like my original, natural teeth and these don't...
I'm panicking that they're too white and a bit 'goofy' looking and that everyone will notice. (Only my husband and boss know I wear dentures)
Should I go back to the lab or wait and see if I get used to them?? I still have my old set which I plan to wear to work tomorrow as I also didn't realise I would be lisping so much(!) Has anyone experienced similar?
