Hello

I had my permanent crown on a few weeks ago and yesterday I started having pain when I drink something cold. Is this normal or something is not right?

Thanks

Was the tooth root canal treated before the crown?

OK, it's possible that the gum has just readjusted round the new crown, leaving a little bit of root exposed which is causing the issue. Try using a sensitive tooth toothpaste for a few days, don't brush with it, rub it round the sensitive areas last thing before bed time and leave it undisturbed over night. If it doesn't get better after a few days go back to your dentist.
