hello all, i am new to this forum..please help me with my problem

i had a root canal done to lower end tooth 2 years ago and had a crown...and from last two days i am experiencing severe pain from that tooth that i cant even touch it...can anyone please explain what the problem would be?what should i do now to relieve pain? should the tooth has to be extracted? how much it gonna cost me for this...becoz i cannot afford so much...please help me in this:(

Your best bet would be to see an endodontist with a view to doing a retreatment through the crown.
Extraction would be a last resort ideally. The dentist doing the root canal 2 years ago maybe missed a canal or two.
It is also possible to bring the infection under control with antibiotics but it will likely reoccur in time.

Has the tooth always felt 100% fine until now or did it used to have occasional weird sensations (if so that would indicate a low-level infection bubbling along and an incomplete rct treatment).
