Still numb 6 hours later

I got 2 fillings on my left side today, one pretty deep. He does give me a lot of novacaine because he knows I’m anxious. I got them done at 330 and it’s not 10:00 and I’m still somewhat numb. Not terrible but numb enough that I can’t make all sounds correctly. Is this normal? I’m afraid I’ll still wake up numb tomorrow.

I'm usually numb for about 7 hours after a single shot, so I presume it's within the normal range (everyone's metabolism is different). In all likelihood, you should be fine by the time you wake up in the morning!
