Thank you crossed up club' your good wishes are working I have turned a small but significant corner. The surgeon had a look and cleaned it and has advised the nurses no longer to soak it or use wet dressings and to let it dry I have been peeling like a snake from the base of my toes to 5 inches up my leg! I use a light dressing over the nasty bit when I get up. And I can use my foot on the floor to steady myself it will take a tiny nit of pressure enough to hobble to loo 30 foot away en suite to the 4 bed bay I'm in but its painful and slow hopping is quicker although not so easy at 4 am. When you are half asleep AMD trying to quietly hop with a Zimmer frame:rofl: in over the weekend review on Monday but hopeful for release next week even if it means the district nurses have to vist me at home
My teeth are doing ok maybe catching some other places but will give it time to see if it settles had a fight with s couple of sausages at lunchtime so could just be that. P.s I won;) ok time for bed my friends I get woken at 6 am for antibiotics :scared: please sleep well clear your minds of worry and make room for dreams x x x x

Hello Carole,
Unfortunately this weekend wasn't the best I've had took shivers with a temperature nausea and hypertension and headaches! consultant says it's linked with stopping one of the IV antibiotics which had to be stopped as I had been on it too long so I have been given a different one and they are running blood work and cultures! So guess I am here for a few more days!!! toothies are rubbing too but on the plus side I have lost 14 lbs :jump: they say every cloud has a silver lining:rofl::rofl::giggle:
Hope your weekend was better?

What a way to lose 14 lbs!!!!
Everything's still :fingerscrossed:for you. I think my toes on my left foot are permanently :fingerscrossed:,
   !!!!
Hope you get well soon, :flowers:!!!!!!!!!!

Your poor toes! Thank you for the good wishes and flowers!:;)

I am hoping you got some good news today. I hope things are getting better, tell the doctor the weather man says a nice sunny weekend and you need some sun :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::whirl::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::butterfly:

Weekend is a no go, planning my escape for Tuesday provided medications don't mess up my white blood cell count :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::whirl:

Well roll on Tuesday is all I can say, I hope you can make your escape then :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::hug5::friends::flowers::flowers::flowers::waves::waves::waves::butterfly:

Hi I haven't much to say to you today other than stick with it you will escape soon. The weather is better which I suppose is annoying the hell out of you been in the hospital.

Hopefully you will get out on Tuesday and the nice weather will still be here. :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::butterfly::butterfly::butterfly::butterfly::waves::flowers::flowers::flowers:

I certainly hope the drs let me out tomorrow or Tuesday the lack of fresh air. There is building work going on outside the window and the powers that be health and safety has stipulated that the Windows must remain closed. And you know how hot it is in hospital anyway. Well it's so stuffy and roasting in here not healthy at all hopefully I will get out and be able to continue my healing in the garden on the lounger with my foot up in the sun. I started doingmy own dressings which will help in my quest for freedom I will post tomorrow with the Drs decision. Cross everything my fellow twisted up clubbers:fingerscrossed:

Oh , I hope so, Deejay.............how long have you been in the hospital........2 weeks???
:fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed:

It's 4 weeks tomorrow that I have been in !!!
Dr wants to keep me in for a couple more days so prob til end of week but there is a small chance of a transfer to private wing free upgrade but will wait and see. The end is in sight!!

Oh that would be nice, does that mean you will be able to open your windows too if they move you. I guess the crossed up club is working for you, not quite as fast as we would like but any improvement is better than nothing.

I really hope you get better soon :grouphug::whirl::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::butterfly:

I got my free upgrade had a lovely sleep in a dark, quiet room with the window open all night it may of only been 6 hours with a comfort interlude about 1:30 am but it was lovely, lots of the staff were at reception when I arrived on my bed from they other ward they all remembered me from last Sept when I spent 3 weeks with them the house keeper told me to get to my room! They put me in the room I had last time Ha Ha
If you are mobile you can go out private entrance and there is a little seating area with a hedge round it backed ny a small aviary :) not sure I could get that far yet though I never thought when I found fingers Crossed smiley that I would be on the receiving end quite so much it is greatly appreciated xx

I am pleased that you got your upgrade and it is nice that you are with familiar faces. If you can manage to get outside you will now be able to enjoy the nice weather we are having.

Be careful what smilies you find in future it may be a sign, and yes the crossed one has come in very handy :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::butterfly::butterfly::butterfly::flowers::flowers::flowers::whirl:

Well, if you couldn't get released yet, I guess an upgrade in your surroundings is the next best thing.
Still :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:that you'll get let out SOON!!!!!
