I've recently been trying to find a dentist I'm comfortable with and so have been to quite a few 'new patient' consultations that have often, not always, involved the dentists wanting to take their own xrays (instead of using copies of those that I'd taken along...).
This has resulted in me having my teeth xrayed around 5 times in the past couple of months.
I mentioned this to my endodontist when I saw her recently and she was shocked, saying that it was way too many times.
These xrays have all been digital and 'low radiation' according to the dentists (who didn't even leave the room...).
Is this too many xrays??!!
I'm now concerned I've over-dosed on radiation...
