I had a tooth extraction last week, (upper right molar, 2nd to the last). This caused me too much pain I even cant sleep.(history:Tooth got cracked and food particles come inside.. I had a filling but still, so painful, so doc decided to remove) When tooth was extracted, dentist says to fill the gap, he will do fixed bridge. Is this right? I don’t have money for an implant.

Below this space, i have a jacket (which i had because of the braces i wore before) and this is good, ive been with it for 3 years already.

Im afraid if i dont get fixed bridge, my teeth will move since there's a gap.
please help and give advice.. thanks in advance.;D

Well, if you can't afford implants, then it's the best way to fix the gap. Do you have any more specific questions?

was it better if i had a root canal, instead of extracting the tooth..i am worried bout fixed bridge, im afraid it will have some effects in the future.. is fixed bridge ok? or i should just leave the space alone?

it's been 5 days now, and i always check if food has been going to my tooth space. how long would it take before this will totally heal?

if i wear fixed bridge, and i decide to have braces again, is it possible?

thanks for your time.. appreciate it much

A bit late to worry about it now? :)

Fixed bridges are fine, it's hard to advise without seeing you if leaving the gap is acceptable or not, it's something your dentist should discuss with you.

You can have braces with a bridge in but there would be some limitations, again, you need to speak to your dentist about it.

yah, maybe its too late now, i just miss my tooth.. but it really was so painful..
well then, thanks. i will get back to you when i visit my dentist again.
thanks for your time ... more power to you.
