trying to get on top of worrying about a few things at the moment so thought I would ask, as have a tendency to obsess in my head as soon as I get a bit anxious.

I use an electric toothbrush, and have for a long time. I used to have an Oral B one and used the little round heads with the rubber flosser bits. When that died, I didn’t have a lot of money to replace with another oral B. I bought a Hismile electric brush and it has been good, but I’ve seen other things online saying it’s not that great in terms of the brush heads.

Is there a “best” brush to go for, and best head type? I’ve been told I brush quite hard and have worn enamel down - I brush 3 x daily (although my dentist told me that’s too much because of the enamel issue?). I have a long term history of bulimia so that has impacted my teeth.

I almost had a melt down in shop today as overwhelmed with options.

Any recommendations?

Thank you and sorry for another question. X

Oral B.

99% of dentists use them. The standard round heads are as good as any. Get the cheapest one you can find, there's really not much difference between them.
Got to insert the Rhod Gilbert monologue here, in case you haven't seen it:

This is brilliant 😂😂😂😂

This is so funny...

He's great. Try this one:

I asked a dentist once what's the best toothbrush and his reply was "one with bristles and a handle - just so long as you use it" !!

Love Rhod Gilbert!

And I should have added that yes, Oral B are a great toothbrush. I spend too many years using a Reach firm bristle one thinking it was the best thing to clean the teeth. It wasn't. I scrubbed my gums in to premature recession.
