Will drinking clear fizzy drinks damage teeth going through whitening?

Hi, I am currently going through teeth whitening due to large brown marks on my front teeth (due to medicine or something) and it has been 1 week and they are slowly going less visible. I am, however, addicted to fizzy drinks and I know it is bad to drink dark fizzy drinks whilst whitening.

What I was wondering is if I can drink stuff like lemonade or other non-staining fizzy drinks. I really don't want to screw anything up. I have had lemonade already and it seemed to be fine but I just wanted to know if it was ok. Obviously I used a straw so it wouldn't touch any of my teeth as well.

Thanks.

If you do it often enough then yes
an common foods and drinks. The lower the pH, the higher the acidity and therefore the higher the rise of erosion.
