Xrays at initial appointment or not!

I didn't realise it was safer to have digital xrays rather than the conventional xrays. I'll look out for that in future.

Just a small remark: both the digital and the analog (traditional) X-ray are safe. In both very small of X-ray radiation is being used, it is just that in the digital it even less radiation.
