A question about tooth infection

Hi everyone,
I am currently on antibiotics due to abscess and tooth infection. The bad news is, this tooth is part of a 3 tooth bridge, bottom front teeth, I already wear a 2 tooth partial next to it. I am expecting an extraction to be honest, but in reality until I return for follow up in a couple of weeks. I won't know for sure.

The purpose of this post is to ask, how long can you safely leave the tooth before treatment? ( I am aware the abscess can return at any point) the reason being the cost, it would not only be case of the dentists cost, but also to have the technician to modify the denture too. I am not talking months and months down the line, but need time to gather some cash together. So, other than the abscess returning, what are the other potential worries of delaying for a while??

Hi,
I previously asked this question, but had not reply unfortunately.
Currently just finished a course of antibiotics for a tooth infection & follow up appointment on the 12th of February. Dentist has already indicated the tooth will need removing ( it is part of a 3 tooth bridge)
I wanted to ask how long can you safely wait for extraction before the infection causes serious problems? It is not only the fact that I am terrified, I also need 3/4 weeks to gather some money together to pay the dentist & dental technician to modify my partial denture.

Had an abscess over a year now. Probably closer to two. Cause me no bother at all and I have one of those little gum books next to the tooth so I know it’s draining. I am terrified of getting this tooth removed as I went to have it removed when it first abscessed. The dentist injected it about 12 times and it wouldn’t go numb. Iv only been back since once but about a different tooth. I am laying awake at night crying thinking this is going to kill me and leave my babies without a mum. But I still jus can’t bring myself to go to the dentist. So
I just wondering how often these things...
