Antibiotics given , possible root canal Terrified!!!

I posted a few days ago regarding an abcess in one of the anchor teeth on my bridge. It was only a short visit & given antibiotics and to return in a few weeks, because itxwas a bit rushed I only heard the words " root canal possibility depending on x rays" now I'm freaking out. How is a root canal done on a bridge? 2 anchor teeth and one just hanging over a gap. I can't imagine him drilling through the infected tooth as it isn't a flat tooth - more pointy if that makes sense. Or does the bridge have to be removed completely?? How do they get it off without breaking it or damaging the tooth underneath?? I'm literally having nightmares

Easy enough to drill through the bridge to get to the root canal, then it's just the same as usual.

Pointy teeth are opened from the back surface, not straight down from the top
