Anxious ... a bit more.

So I have just called the sedation clinic and had quite a shock. It turns out my dentist told them I need 18 teeth out. He had not told me!!! My feeling is to cancel the appointment and get a second opinion. I was only expecting 3/4 out but when pressed via phone he told me he had to take them all out as a few will make the others weaker???

Surely 18 I should have been warned that I would have NO TEETH when I came round and no offer of a plate or dentures???

The fact they didn't discuss this and it was a surprise and the way it was done.. would defiantely put me in a "dental freeze mode" until I learned more information, and got a 2nd opinion.. Thats alot to swallow ...
