On the tail end of having a ton of fillings throughout my teeth. All of my molars and a few teeth next to them. I didn't always have bad oral hygiene but after a loss and other things I stopped caring and turned to sugar to cope with things for a couple of years. Ended up getting my health back on track and saw the state of my teeth. I'm worried now that all of my teeth will eventually be ruined, due to the amount of fillings I have. I can't believe I let it get this bad. I wish I could go back in time and do things over.

Is there anyone who had a ton of fillings maybe 20+ years ago and still have all of their teeth?

Me :-) I've got fillings going back to the 1970s. Given how much better modern dental materials are these days then I'd expect the rest of your body to wear out faster than the fillings.

If you're sensible with your diet and brush a couple of times a day then your teeth will be fine.

My dad too, he is in his 80's and has had multiple fillings I believe he still has most his teeth in good condition :) They are all his natural teeth with fillings
