back where I started!

Well, not quite...after avoiding the dentist for 25 years, I discovered this site - and summoned up the courage to go for the first time last September. treatment finished in December, and I thought it was all over. now...disaster! One of my repaired teeth has broken again. So I'm back in the chair this afternoon - just as wracked with anxiety as I was before!
But I'm not quite beginning again. at least this time I was able to pick up the phone and call for help right away - not like last time around, when I waited for years!
Let's see if I can go thru with it...

Very true - you're not at the beginning anymore. You've come a long way over the past few months and that's something to keep remembering and feel proud of.

If dental phobia was a game of snakes and ladders, then all that's happened is that you've landed on a tiny snake (only temporarily though) - but remember that's there's also plenty of ladders as well, some of which you've climbed already.

Let's see if I can go thru with it...

I know you're probably feeling extremely anxious right now, but I'm sure you can do this. You probably don't realise how many people your story has given encouragement and hope to (it certainly has for me).
