Hi all, question.
Had bone grafting done on three sites but #11 most likely failed. The two others were perfect. Unfortunately the PTFE seal was not perfect on 11 and food got underneath and took out a lot of graft with it even though I was following all instructions and cleaning correctly with a syringe and chlorahexidine. Surgeon said it's not great but we will reevaluate in September to see if anything took. Most likely we will have to redo it but thankfully at no cost to me. At the moment I can see a hole straight to the jaw bone after he took the membranes off today. It's gross and I hope it heals quickly.
If we redo it, what's the best course of action to ensure the second grafting takes? I knows anterior is harder to heal due to various factors, but I don't want to do this a third time.
