Hi i am Vic im afraid to go to the dentist cause of the needle i get massive panick attacks, I weas able to get there 4 days ago they gave me docycycline and ibubrofren, ive been taking the pills for the last 3 days or so, the main tooth that was killing me subsided, im just wondering with my chipped tooth. why is the side of my face numb, yea the outer side of my face is numb its been numb for like 3 days now... will the numbness eventually go away after the problem w the tooth gets all better??? ty

Hi,

It is difficult to answer your questions without examining you. The numbness might have to do with the infection and if this is the case this is very serious. You have to take care of the tooth properly.

yes and thank you, i feel after another 2 weeks or so, still taking the docycyline and swish my tetth w warm water n salt after every meal i think the numbness will go down...

All these a temporary remedies. Eventually you will need a dental treatment.
