check up coming soon - very worried about oral cancer etc

I go to the dentist every three months and due to go back next week for a check up. I a bit hypo everything thing I see which looks strange in my mouth or elsewhere I go in a mad craze and think it automaically cancer. I got this thing on my gum which is white does not feel hard (could be a harder plaque) or my root canal acting up.

I know I should not Google but I am very scared I could have cancer.

I know dentist check for cancer during the checkups each time I dont smoke and in my mid 30s

I'm sorry that this is making you so anxious! As you know, the Internet can make even the most harmless thing seem deadly. I don't have any advice for you other than to do what you can to keep yourself busy until your appointment. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
